3. Instructions for use
Application techniques
3.1. CEMENTATION OF CROWNS, BRIDGES, ADHESIVE PROSTHESES, INLAYS AND ONLAYS
– Remove the temporary restoration and test the adaptation of the prosthetic part. Make the necessary adjustments;
– Carry out the protocols for preparing the prosthetic parts; blasting with aluminum oxide of metal parts and conditioning with hydrofluoric acid of ceramic parts;
– Apply the silane on the inside of the piece with the aid of a brush, ensuring the formation of a thin layer with total surface coating. Wait 1 minute and dry with air jet for approximately 5 seconds;
– Clean the preparations properly, removing residues from the temporary cementing material;
– Keep the area isolated;
– Apply the adhesive system according to the manufacturer’s instructions;
– Apply the adhesive system according to the manufacturer’s instructions;
– Dispense the appropriate amount of YCEM 4ALL cement over a mixing block and mix for 10 seconds. This step is waived if a self-mixing tip is used. In this case, the first portion must be dispensed with, ensuring that the material used is homogeneously colored;
– Apply a thin layer of YCEM 4ALL cement on the inner surface of the prosthetic piece or on the preparation;
– Carefully seat the prosthetic piece, allowing its flow. Hold in position for one minute and remove excess cement until 3 minutes after setting. In the case of low-retentive restorations, keep the piece under pressure during the removal of excesses;
– Light cure each margin for 40 seconds. Use photopolymerizer with minimum power of 400mW/cm² of irradiance;
– Perform the final finish.
3.2. CEMENTATION OF INTRA-RADICULAR PINS
– Prepare the endodontically treated channel to receive the pin (ensure that 1/3 of gutta percha remains at the end of the channel);
– Perform root canal cleaning;
– Proof the pin and apply silane, ensuring the formation of a thin layer with total surface coating. Wait 1 minute and dry with air jet for approximately 5 seconds;
– Apply the adhesive system according to the manufacturer’s instructions;
– Dispense the appropriate amount of YCEM 4ALL cement over a mixing block and mix for 10 seconds. This step is waived if a self-mixing tip is used. In this case, the first portion must be dispensed with, ensuring that the material used is homogeneously colored;
– Apply a thin layer along the pin or apply the cement inside the channel with the aid of an applicator syringe;
– Insert the pin immediately into the root canal and keep under pressure for 1 minute. Start the removal of excess until 3 minutes after mixing the cement;
– Light cure for 40 seconds to ensure fixation of the pin in the root canal. Use photopolymerizer with minimum power of 400mW/cm² of irradiance;
4. Precautions, restrictions, warnings
